Miguel Drago e Pedro Frias trazem os grandes nomes da guitarra portuguesa à Quinta dos Vales.
No dia 8 de Outubro 2011 pelas 21.00 Horas a Quinta dos Vales proporciona-lhe mais um momento vínico e cultural onde as guitarras tomam o protagonismo da noite. Um concerto único com Miguel Drago, que já foi considerado o melhor executante de Guitarra Portuguesa na vertente de Coimbra, acompanhado pelo guitarrista algarvio Pedro Frias.
A Quinta dos Vales, inicia assim um série de concertos intimistas com o objectivo de dinamizar a cultura do barlavento durante o inverno, para um público de apenas 60 pessoas.
No dia 8 de Outubro, na Quinta dos Vales, a alma portuguesa do instrumento mais significativo do Fado, a guitarra portuguesa, tomará o protagonismo da noite.
A guitarra portuguesa é essencialmente associada ao acompanhamento do Fado, quer na sua vertente de Lisboa, quer na de Coimbra. Contudo, é também usada como instrumento solista, provavelmente desde os seus primeiros tempos.
É esta faceta da guitarra que os músicos Pedro Frias e Miguel Drago mostram neste Tributo, incidindo sobre reconhecidos compositores/interpretes do Séc.XX, como Artur Paredes e Carlos Paredes, João Bagão, Armando Freire (Armandinho), José Nunes, Jaime Santos ou José Fontes Rocha. O som das cordas destes dois instrumentos combinam-se intimamente transportando-o directamente às raízes do nosso país Portugal.
Um espetáculo único, cheio de musicalidade e virtuosismo. A não perder.

On October 8th 2011 at 9pm Quinta dos Vales brings you another cultural moment allied with its excellent wines where the guitars take centre stage. A unique concert with Miguel Drago, who has been considered the best performer in the Portuguese Guitar in the style of Coimbra, accompanied by Algarvian guitarist Pedro Frias.
Quinta dos Vales initiates a series of intimate concerts, with the aim of boosting the culture in the western Algarve during the winter, to an audience of only 60 people.
On October 8, at Quinta dos Vales, the soul of the most significant instrument in Portuguese Fado, the Portuguese guitar, takes the role of the night.
The Portuguese guitar is essentially associated with the accompaniment of Fado, in both the style of Lisbon and Coimbra. However, it is also used as a solo instrument, probably since its early days.
It is this facet of the guitar that musicians Pedro Frias and Miguel Drago show in this tribute by focusing on known composers / performers of the XX century, such as Artur Paredes, Carlos Paredes, João Bagão, Armando Freire (Armandinho), José Nunes, Jaime Santos ou José Fontes Rocha. The sound of the strings of these two instruments combine closely transporting it directly to the roots of Portugal.
